Kenny linked with Dundalk role
November 20, 2009
Erstwhile Derry City manager Stephen Kenny is reputedly on the verge of taking charge of League of Ireland rivals Dundalk.
Kenny’s second stint at the Brandywell looks to be coming to a close after the club were thrown out of the League of Ireland earlier this month.
The Candystripes are expected to take their place in the First Division in 2010 after a new board of directors is appointed.
By then, however, it is believed that former Longford Town, Bohemians and Dunfermline Athletic chief Kenny will be in charge of Dundalk.
The Lilywhites are without a manager following the departure of Sean Connor at the end of the season.
