Turner enjoyed an impressive season at Dundalk, at the end of which he was nominated for the PFAI Player of the Year award.

The 22-year-old has played under manager Sean Connor at Sligo, Bohemians and Dundalk but following Connor’s departure last week, he has also made his exit from Oriel Park.

Turner, who initially joined the Showgrounds outfit from Derby County almost four years ago, has agreed a two-year contract with the Bit O’Red.
